Cambodian military delegation extends Happy New Year wishes to THACO
A delegation from Cambodia's Ministry of National Defense, led by Deputy Director of Military Services Lieutenant General Dong Mao, visited THACO's Ho Chi Minh City headquarters on January 24 to offer New Year's greetings, representing both the Department of Military Services' International Relations division and the Information and Communications Department.
The visit to THACO was part of a broader New Year's initiative by Cambodia's Military Services department, who spent September 23-25 offering greetings to provinces and cities within Vietnam's Military Region 7. THACO Vice Chairman Nguyen Hung Minh received the delegation at the Ho Chi Minh City headquarters.
Welcoming the delegation, THACO Vice Chairman Nguyen Hung Minh highlighted both THACO's journey – showcasing its formation, growth, and diversification into its six sub-holdings – and its commitment to Cambodian agriculture. He also expressed sincere gratitude for the support provided by Cambodian ministries, departments, and the Military Services department throughout THACO's agricultural ventures within the country.
Demonstrating their strong backing for THACO's Cambodian agricultural endeavors, the Cambodian delegation not only pledged their department's support in connecting and facilitating THACO's investments, but also delivered a special New Year's message from General Meas Savon, Director of the Department of Military Services. In his letter, General Savon conveyed four auspicious Buddhist principles to THACO's Board of Directors: Longevity, Beauty, Peace, and Strength.
After the exchange, the delegation embarked on a tour of Sala Urban Area and enjoyed their shopping experience at Emart Sala, capping off a productive and delightful visit.
