After 52 weekly, monthly, and quarterly competitions, the Road to Olympia 2023 finale took place on October 8, at which THACO Chairman Tran Ba Duong presented the first prize to the champion, Le Xuan Manh from Ham Rong High School in Thanh Hoa Province.
Receiving feedback from the community that the prizes are not commensurate with the scale of the contest, especially the Second and Third prizes are not comparable to the First prize. The second and third prizes double.
Sharing his feelings after the dramatic final round, Xuan Manh said, "My score was average after the first two rounds, but I never thought my chances had run out. In the final round, I used the star of hope for the last question to double the score. I am really proud to present my hometown and become the first “mountaineer” to bring the laurel wreath for Thanh Hoa province.”
On the other hand, the second prize belonged to Nguyen Trong Thanh from Tran Phu High School for the Gifted in Hai Phong province, worth VND200 million. And the two third prizes went to Nguyen Viet Thanh (Soc Son High School in Ha Noi) and Nguyen Minh Triet (Quoc hoc Hue High School), VND 100 million each.
