THACO 1

This is one of the activities in the Central Vietnam Red Cross Association's "Nutrition for Poor and Disabled Children" program, which is primarily sponsored by THACO. Co To Kindergarten's new boarding kitchen is 46 square meters in size and fully equipped with the necessary appliances and utensils. The construction cost was approximately VND300 million. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2023.

Co To Kindergarten in Co To town is facing particular difficulties, with a significant number of half-boarders, who account for one-third of the total students. The school's current boarding kitchen does not meet the prescribed structural and technical standards, either.

THACO 2

The Vietnam Red Cross Society launched the "Nutrition for Poor and Disabled Children" program to provide nutritional support and improve the diets of 1 million poor, disabled, and disadvantaged children in border areas, mountainous areas, and islands. The goal of the program is to help children develop better both physically and intellectually. In 2023, THACO has donated VND3 billion to the organization to support the construction and repair of semi-boarding and boarding kitchens for preschools and primary schools in 9 provinces and cities across the country.
