Chu Lai Port boosts storage capacity to serve customers
At the end of 2022, Chu Lai Port started to construct warehouses 6A and 7A to improve its storage capacity to meet the needs in the Central region.
Currently, demands for long-term goods storage of regional businesses are increasing. Especially, the exported agricultural products, including cassava chips, tapioca starch, wood pellets, etc. are also on the rise, leading to great demands to store imported and exported goods at the port. Spanning a total area of 20,160 square meters, the warehouses 6A and 7A expect to come into operations by the end of April 2023, bringing the total area of warehouses to more than 142,300 square meters. At the port, warehouses are built according to European standards and divided into specialized areas, suitable for storage, loading and unloading conditions of each type of goods. Besides, the port is equipped with a strict security system, advanced fire alarms and fire protection systems to ensure absolute goods safety.
In addition, Chu Lai Port is building a new 50,000 ton terminal, purchasing modern loading and unloading equipment, etc. to improve its goods receiving capacity, and at the same time, upgrading its logistics full-package supply chain to meet the increasing import and export needs of businesses.
