Chu Lai Port provides storage services for cassava chips
On January 7, nearly 500 tons, sourced by Hong Nga Sai Gon, an import-export agricultural specialist, were received and stored in a dedicated 3,000-square-meter warehouse at Chu Lai Port. The port's equipment ensured quality control before onward export to the Chinese market.
The shipment was transported across various locations - the Central Highlands (Vietnam), Attapeu, Sekong, Pakse (Laos), Ratanakiri (Cambodia) - traversing the Laos-Cambodia route to arrive at Chu Lai Port in Quang Nam province. The company plans to store and export over 10,000 tons of cassava chips per month from the port.
Chu Lai Port has a large warehouse system of 200,000 square meters with service fees 20% lower than other rivals. Handling export items like cassava chips, cassava starch, tablets, and wood chips at the port has increased by 3-4 times from its previous pace. Goods release time has been up to 50% faster, and the lifting and loading costs are 5-40% lower than the regional average. Its good service quality and competitive costs have attracted big names, including Sun Paper Savanakhet (Laos), VBS (Vietnam), Idemitsu Green Energy, Sumida (Japan), Xindadong (China) to make Chu Lai Port as their import-export destination.
By actively promoting the export of goods from Laos and Cambodia, Chu Lai Port is strategically positioning itself as the Vietnam Central's international transshipment center, fueling bustling trade activity throughout the area.
