On November 11, THACO AUTO and BMW Group hosted "The Expression of Luxury" event at Thiskyhall in Sala Urban Area, Ho Chi Minh City, marking a significant milestone in their five-year collaboration. The event unveiled the new BMW X5 and the first-ever BMW XM. This grand occasion also served as an opportunity for THACO AUTO to express its gratitude to the loyal customers who have placed their trust in BMW over the years.

The event was attended by representatives of the European Business Association, the German Business Association in Vietnam, leaders of BMW Group Asia, BMW Car Club, Jardine Matheson Group (Vietnam), Jardine Cycle & Carriage Limited, THACO, THACO AUTO and especially customers have always accompanied the BMW brand throughout the years.

At the event, THACO AUTO and BMW continued to launch new BMW luxury cars, the new BMW X5 with Msport and xLine versions, and especially the first-ever BMW, the first BMW M Plug-in Hybrid model ever launched in Vietnam, marking a significant step forward for BMW in exceptional performance and cutting-edge technology.

The new BMW X5 provides a spacious interior combined with high-quality materials, offering a luxurious and comfortable experience. The most notable feature of the new BMW X5 is the Mild Hybrid powertrain, which pairs the B58 engine block to improve efficiency and significantly reduce emissions.

The BMW XM boasts an innovative, dynamic, and exceptionally powerful design. The spacious interior features a driver-focused layout. Furthermore, the BMW XM represents a groundbreaking Plug-in Hybrid model, featuring a 4.4L V8 engine integrated with an electric motor and an advanced M Hybrid powertrain. This combination propels the vehicle from 0 to 100 km/h in only 4.3 seconds.

According to the THACO AUTO President, after five years of collaboration, THACO AUTO has sold more than 6,000 BMW vehicles to the Vietnamese customers and launched 17 new prominent models from BMW lineup. Additionally, THACO AUTO has expanded its distribution network from two to fifteen showrooms nationwide. In 2023, THACO AUTO inaugurated the first Retail.Next standard BMW showroom in Southeast Asia in Binh Duong Province, offering customers a unique and elevated shopping experience.

In addition to the car launch, THACO AUTO also announced the pricing for these exceptional vehicles. The BMW XM will be available for VND10.999 billion, while the BMW X5 xDrive 40i xLine and BMW X5 xDrive 40i MSport will cost VND4.159 billion and VND3.909 billion, respectively.
