THACO organizes Strategy - System Management and Leadership development training
On September 12 and 13, THACO organized the training course on “Strategy - System Management of THACO and its sub-holdings” and “Leadership development and 36 David Meier's Lessons” for more than 200 employees, who are leaders, managers, potential leaders from THACO Corporate Function Department and Sub-holdings in Ho Chi Minh City and THACO Chu Lai Complex.
The course was taught by Mr. Pham Van Tai, THACO President. There were 2 parts. In Part 1, the lecturer talked about strategy and system management, in which he gave an overview of THACO’s strategy-system management, e.g., vision, mission, strategy of THACO, the complementarity and integration in its business model, and the organization structure in 2023. He clarified the structure and functions of THACO's Corporate Function Departments, the strategy and business models of the sub-holdings.
In part 2, with the topic “Leadership Development and 36 David Meier's Lessons”, the THACO President shared golden principles of leadership, 5 levels of leadership according to John C. Maxwell, essential qualities of a leader, as well as emphasized the importance of living purposefully, and the lifelong journey of leadership development.
The course aimed to equip the learners with deeper insights about THACO's management model so that each one can come up with appropriate strategies and management methods at their units, have a clearer understanding of the roles and qualities of a good leader, therefrom building their current leadership and management skills, developing "ethical and competent future leaders with high governance level, meeting the requirements of business and management" (quoted from Message 2023 of THACO Chairman).
