THACO accompanies VTV’s Kind Trip in Quang Nam province
THACO and Vietnam Television on August 28 organized the Kind Trip charity program in Nam Tra My district, Quang Nam province. The activity was among Vietnam Television (VTV)'s Kind Deeds series which has been under THACO sponsorship since 2017.
The Kind Trip No. 3 went to Vu A Dinh High School for Ethnic Minorities in Tra Don commune which locates in the high mountains of Quang Nam province where teaching and learning activities are lacking resources. Mr. Do Minh Tam, THACO INDUSTRIES President attended the program. At the event, the company leader and VTV representatives handed over 4 semiboarding rooms which have been repaired and renovated by using the program's funding. Also, as the new school year was about to start, THACO INDUSTRIES presented 300 new school uniforms to the students, equivalent to VND90 million as an encouragement for them to continue the schoolwork and overcome difficulties.
And to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, the program organizers also brought to the school a meaningful gala "Moon of Love". In the gala, there were lion dance, foods and gifts which brought great joy to the poor children in the mountainous area.
This is the 6th year in THACO sponsorship for VTV's Kind Deeds series. After nearly 6 years, the program has become a VTV brand which introduced good people with good deeds, meaningful stories and charity activities widely to the community, contributing to spreading love and positive messages.
Not stopping at the mission to honor good deeds - good people on television and digital platforms, in 2022, the Kind Deeds series has opened a new charity project called Kind Trip.
The project aims to help disadvantaged people across the country with many practical activities, including building playgrounds, libraries, renovating classrooms for children in highland and coastal areas, building houses for poor people, blood donation, organizing Tet holiday for lonely elderly people or patients, giving gifts to poor children, orphans after the Covid-19 pandemic, charity programs for women, the environment and more. Embracing the spirit of social contribution, THACO has accompanied and sponsored this meaningful project in hopes to build kind and humane societies.
