THACO INDUSTRIES convened its 2024 Business Plan Conference on February 1, with Chairman Tran Ba Duong delivering a keynote speech.

The conference was to discuss strategies, production and business plans for 2024, and a five-year vision extending to 2027. The corporation outlined growth goals, aiming for a 51% increase in revenue compared to 2023, exceeding VND13,000 billion through a strategic production and business plan. The key priorities include: developing specific business targets by product group and market, prioritizing feasibility and efficiency in production and business tasks across all factories and units, strengthening governance by emphasizing leadership responsibility and leveraging operational expertise in decision-making, implementing a phased approach to integrate software and digital platforms for comprehensive management.

Chairman Tran Ba Duong's address at the conference laid out a clear vision for THACO INDUSTRIES in 2024: achieve key goals, ensure sustainable growth, and conquer the export market. He emphasized the importance of leveraging technology and production expertise to understand market trends and expand customer reach. With a proactive approach to production and business, THACO INDUSTRIES aims to solidify its position as a major player in industrial production.

THACO INDUSTRIES currently lacks a strong presence in the high-value-added (HVA) product segment. To address this, the company should focus on enhancing production capabilities for HVA products, including key components and details, expediting the construction of the Glass Plant and Stamping Plant, prioritizing the R&D Center to enhance future competitiveness.

Chairman Tran Ba Duong highlighted the crucial role of human resources development in science, technology, and industrial production. He emphasized the need for every employee to build a strong foundation of knowledge and continuously update their skills to stay abreast of current trends. Specifically, he called upon the THACO INDUSTRIES Board of Directors to set clear goals and directions for talent development, taking responsibility as leaders, proactively support this initiative. He further stressed the importance of leadership at all levels, requiring each leader and manager to possess in-depth technical knowledge and strong production management skills, be passionate about technology and its applications, and serve as role models who motivate and encourage their teams to contribute to the group's growth.
