THACO receives certificate of merit for active CSR activities
THACO on Mar. 9 honorably received a certificate of merit from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City for its outstanding contributions to welfare funds in 2023.
At the event, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City reviewed the operations of "Fund for the needy", "Fund for the National Sea - For the national frontline", relief aids in Ho Chi Minh City in 2022 and Tet holiday welfare fund in 2023.

In 2022, THACO donated nearly VND130 billion to its CSR activities, e.g. Fund for the Needy, building charity houses for poor fishermen in Quang Tri and Thua Thien Hue, supplying medical equipment for hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City and Quang Nam, or sponsoring scholarships, education programs.
For the "Fund for the Needy", from 2017 to 2022, THACO has contributed more than VND118 billion in total, more than VND16 billion in 2022. THACO has made a commitment to donating another VND100 billion to the fund in 2023 to 2027. The amount will be donated directly to the Vietnam Fatherland Front in provinces and cities across the country.

Reportedly, in 2022, Ho Chi Minh City received more than VND309 billion from individuals and organizations for the "Fund for the Needy", over VND6.7 billion in relief aids, and more than VND56 billion for "Fund for the national sea - For the national frontline". Thanks to these amounts, the city would have more social welfare activities, especially for disadvantaged people and soldiers in border areas and islands.
Since its establishment, in addition to production and business activities, CSR is also a well-established trait in THACO culture, in which the company engages in multiple community programs in health, education, housing, etc., in hopes to contribute to improving the social welfare, especially for those in need and at needy locations.
