THISO Retail presents helmets to children in Ho Chi Minh City
At the event, Mr. Le Huu Tinh, Senior Marketing Manager of Thiso Retail shared, “Raising awareness about traffic safety
and children protection is one of the CSR activities that THISO Retail have been paying close attention to. In particular, presenting helmets is an annual activity that we have been embracing over the years. The company expects to give 6,500 helmets to primary school students at 6 schools in Thu Duc City, ensuring their safety when traveling with their parents."
Donating helmets is one of the company's traditional community activities, this year, serving as one of the events to celebrate Emart Sala's opening. Previously, Thiso Retail - Emart signed an agreement with the Vietnam's National Traffic Safety Committee to implement traffic safety activities for children, including promoting advocacy for law compliance on children's wearing helmets during 2015-2020, signing the agreement to donate 50,000 quality helmets to primary pupils in Ho Chi Minh City.
In addition to helmet donation, THISO Retail has been upholding different other meaningful projects to improve traffic safety around schools in Ho Chi Minh City, e.g. Emart yellow carpets, installing traffic signs around schools, organizing training courses on traffic skills for students.
