On July 14, THACO AUTO's Body Moving Part Plant sent a shipment of 80 All-New Kia Sorento sets, including front doors, rear doors, bonnets, and rear trunks to Malaysia. This has been its third to the market since July 2022, affirming its product quality in the world market.

The parts are made from stainless steel from South Korea, manufactured on KIA-transferred assembly lines with advanced machines, namely automated contour pressing lines, welding robots, folding robots, welding jigs, finishing welding jigs. The outputs are high-quality, durable, strictly following IATF 16949 (quality control) and the ISO 14001 (environment) standards. The products not only stay in line with the KIA global quality standards in terms of technical content, but also satisfy design requirements from the Malaysian market such as positions of plates, curtains and so on.

The factory has plans to produce and supply body parts for Kia Soluto, Kia K3, Kia Sonet, Kia Seltos, Kia Sorento, Kia Carnival, All-New Mazda 3, Mazda CX- 5, Mazda CX-8… for THACO AUTO and also Malaysia. It also intensifies its R&D activities to serve market needs, upgrade the wiring and trunk functions on Kia Sonet, Kia Seltos, Kia Carnival as per customer requirements and standards.
