Public speaking is an essential skill in working, from presenting reports, working with partners and customers to do the training sessions, etc. Understanding such requirements, to increase employees' communication efficiency, on Mar. 21, THACO College organized a public speaking training course for more than 60 employees of factories and units in THACO Chu Lai.

Participating in the course, the students were given an overview of public speaking, presentation formats, and steps to build an effective presentation (define objectives and audience, understand the audience, scientific content preparation, practice) and public speaking techniques (style, psychology, voice, intonation, use of body language and related skills such as: interacting with listeners, handling situations, etc.).

The learners practiced in the class by choosing their own topics, developing content, and then presenting the topic in front of the class and receiving feedback from the lecturer for what was good and not good, and how to improve. The lesson was a good combination between theory, practice and open-minded feedback about the difficulties encountered along with practical examples in work, enabling learners to understand the lesson and apply it in real life.

In the coming time, THACO College will keep on giving more courses on presentation skills, communication skills, negotiation skills, etc., to build a team of employees with good professional skills and soft skills, meeting the requirements of the new-generation industrial workforce.
